In mid-July The British Council organised a high level expert briefing for Chinese cultural industries policy makers from government, and from the National Research Centre of Cultural Industries (NRCCI) at Tsingua University, Beijing. Andy Pratt co-chair this meeting. Over three days in mid-July senior British policy advisors discussed similarities and differences in policy making. The NRCCI delegation, led by Professor Xiong, and CMCI agreed to work more closely together to explore these issues further.
